# Self-Organising Communities (SOC) dAPP

**Description:**

The Self-Organising Communities (SOC) dApp, part of the borderless ecosystem, is a robust community management tool. It allows users to form and participate in self-organising communities, fostering collaboration, engagement, and financial incentives. SOC helps community members connect, share resources, and collectively shape the NFT future. It offers a platform for community-driven initiatives, enabling the creation, curation, and showcasing of NFT collections, along with collaboration on projects, event organisation, and collective innovation. SOC empowers these communities, creating a vibrant, dynamic ecosystem for active contributions to the NFT space's growth and development.

**Specification:**

SOC operates as a Factory smart contract with a modular architecture to publish special smart contracts. The ownership of these contracts is linked to an NFT, which also manages EOA and community membership through the minting and burning of special entities (POAP/NFT/SBT/Other) for members. It is a versatile tool set up for various community creation and building models. This system also facilitates community cross-working with Web3-based tools and methods, such as web3 domains, multisignature wallets, social platforms, metaverses, and more.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.borderless.art/team-structure/b.1ab/self-organising-communities-soc-dapp.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
